My goodness.
This week my sweet Emmy turned 6 months. She is so strong and darling - smiling all the time now! Her laugh kills me. She gets her tummy off the floor now, and is starting to scoot back and rock. She'll be crawling before I know it!

| Pardon the blurriness..but that face!!!! |
We started her on solids, and she LOVES refried beans. Ha. Avacados, bananas, and scrambled eggs are also among her favorites. She has tried squash, peas, sweet potatoes, berry mix, prunes, rice cereal, and chicken. (All homemade, or prepared at home.) She still reacts to dairy, so I am still missing my cheese! (I tell you what though....not as much anymore! I could do this whole dairy free thing for a while!) *if you don't know the whole story about how we found out she is allergic to dairy, please ask!*

| Eating re-fried beans for the first time. Look at that grin! |
She thinks suprised faces are funny, velcro is hilarious, and loves getting her tummy "om-nomed". She says "Da Da Da" all the time, sometimes knowing it is Ian....most the time she just loves chanting it. She is expanding her repertoire to include "Th" and "Bla" lately...and has said "MAAA!" out of desperation a few times. She has called me (or "nursing") "Nay" since the day she was born, and still lets me know when she needs me by calling me that. I'll take it. :)
Oh my child. I still love her to peices. :)
Since I never did a "nursery reveal"...here it is! Her nursery. Her cradle is filled with all her stuffed animals, and she sleeps in our room with us. We had to lower her crib the other day because she pulled herself up!
Emmy is out on a walk with Mimi, so I had some time on my hands. I'm actually enjoying a quiet afternoon! Hope this finds you well! :)
Love,
Miranda
